As we know by now, I’m not the biggest naturalist on this planet… I leave that to my brother and sister-in-law! They rock at using organic ingredients to ‘feed’ their bods in a variety of ways! However, I’m not against natural products by any means, I just often find that products with a little bit of extra oompf work best for my skin! But with that said, Herbivore Botanicals has got me hooked (if you end up loving their products, click this link for 25% off)! Although, when I went to their ‘Wellness’ section, I own the same Tarot cards, similar jade contraption and Quartz pendulum – so maybe I’m actually more of a naturalist than I thought! Or at least I get down with my ‘spiritual’ side more often than not 😉
I first heard of this brand on Amazon (they legit have everything on this planet, half of my paychecks go there I swear) and got some amazing little gems for my mom for Mother’s Day last year. It wasn’t until recently that I received a sample of one of their facial masks & my god… LOVING it! Herbivore Botanicals was first started by a husband and wife team, out of their kitchen in Seattle! They use only organic ingredients that are safe, nontoxic and highly effective! Not only do their products contain all the good stuff that our bodies love, I LOVE that they actually work! When I applied the Blue Tansy Resurfacing Mask yesterday, I had some blemishes that were thinking about coming to the surface, but when I awoke this morning, they were gone and my skin felt so fresh and so clean, clean!
If you’re interested in getting to know more of your organic side when it comes to skincare, here are some products we recommend!
Blue Tansy Resurfacing Mask – $48 #CheekysChoice
5-stars, based on 58 reviews
How it works – Helps to decongest pores, slough off dead skin, reduce redness & inflammation, all while giving your skin much needed moisture!
Directions – Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin. Slight tingling is a-okay with this mask as it works to gently exfoliate and resurface the skin. Leave on 15–20 minutes or until mask is completely dry. Rinse with warm water. Sensitive skin: Leave on 5 minutes and rinse with warm water.
For the first five days, use every other day for best results. After day five, use 2–3 times per week to maintain results.
Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Face Mist – $16-$32 #CheekysChoice
