Ever since I was a child, I loved to make people feel and look beautiful.

Remembering The Beautiful Faces of 9/11

Here at Cheeky Complexion, we celebrate beautiful people, both inside and out.  Beauty comes in many shapes & sizes, ethnicity & color! As the 15th anniversary owp-9-11-memorial-museum-22f 9/11 approaches, when the largest terror attack on American soil occurred, we wanted to remember those beautiful faces & the courage and strength they exhibited.

On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people (2,977 to be exact) were killed in a series of terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda. Today, we remember each victim at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in New York City where all loved one’s names are inscribed on bronze parapets surrounding the twin Memorial ponds.  Let’s look together at some of the beautiful & courageous people who exhibited incredible levels of heroism on the day we will never forget.

(did you know a rose is laid on each victims memorial on their birthday?)
