Ever since I was a child, I loved to make people feel and look beautiful.

The New Derma Pro Canada Plasma Pen

Whilst cruising the internet the other day… By the way, ‘whilst’ makes me sound so British, or in this case British-Canadian… I stumbled upon a new skincare routine I hadn’t heard of yet…My life instantly became better (like seriously, I could hear birds chirping and butterflies flew by (okay maybe not, but I was happy)) and I sat up in my chair. ‘What are these dots we have here’, I said aloud. ‘Well, well, well’ I thought… A new skincare treatment (at least to the Tucson area and us folk move slower here, so I’m gonna now change my sentence to relatively new) us Cheeky’s are gonna be EXCITED over. Dreams do come true.

Suspense, I know, has been killing you! But it’s called the New Derma Pro Canada Plasma Pen that is marketed as a revolutionary procedure that boasts advanced wrinkle reduction to whomever it touches. Okay, I see you Derma Pro! P.S. I’m literally bookmarking my own blog to make sure I do this… it looks fricking awesome. Also, you better believe I’m getting this!!! Stop!

What is it?

Plasma Skin Tightening is a procedure which works by assisting your skin to revive natural levels of the collagen, HA (hyaluronic acid) and fibronectin which are the building blocks for ‘younger looking’ skin.

Plasma Skin Tightening will give you youthful results by way of just a 60 minute procedure. Once you heal, you’ll see those stubborn wrinkles have almost disappeared.

What is it used to treat?

Plasma Skin Tightening is able to treat plenty of imperfections without actual surgery.

  • Reducing excess lower eyelids and upper eyelid skin
  • Skin imperfections like sun spots & skin tags
  • Acne scars or post-surgery scarring
  • Loose stomach skin
  • Lines and wrinkles around the mouth

It can also be used to mimic a neck lift & facelift.

Below is an image I’ve grabbed from DermaPro that shows the pricing (not sure if this is without a markup or this would be actual pricing from your provider) and it shows you the common areas that can be addressed. Don’t forget though, that many areas of your body can benefit, not just your face…. Just like loose stomach skin, you can use also use Plasma Tightening for excess wrinkles on your upper arms for instance. Heck, I’d imagine you can even do your hands!

Side note: I called a local skin joint in Tucson, Ice Age Aesthetics, where I know the owner Kelly, and she said for the under eye it’s $400 and for the dimple area it’s $400 (those are my personal 2 trouble spots)…. so these look to be pretty accurate pricing up above! I don’t think I got a special price either…

How long does it last?

Plasma Skin Tightening is more than a simple tightening treatment, skin is actually removed, so the effects are JUST like that of invasive surgery without the knife! ‘The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately after the first treatment, but the best results will be seen after 8-12 weeks. For some, an additional treatment may be required for maximum results.’

Things to consider….

As with the majority of cosmetic procedures, Plasma Pro Skin Tightening should not be used on women who are pregnant or breast feeding. Although some darker skin types are suitable for the soft surgery procedure, it is not advised for those with very dark skin. This is because there is a higher risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) or hypopigmentation (light spots) following treatment.

What’s the treatment like?

#CheekyConfidential Folks recommend taking antihistamines before the procedure to help with possible swelling

  • 97% said they would recommend Plasma Pen Treatment to a friend
  • 90% noticed a visible reduction in wrinkles, fine lines & puffiness
  • 84% received compliments on their skin after the treatment – which really doesn’t say much… but they included it on their website.
