Ever since I was a child, I loved to make people feel and look beautiful.

Your Guide to Cleansing Tools

I had a gal ask the other week about affordable facial cleansing tool options & thought it would be great to share with the Cheeky community!

We all know I’m mildly obsessed with Clarisonic facial tools, but that doesn’t mean they’re the end all be all, they’re a product line I trust & see results from. However, there are certainly a wide variety of other, more affordable options (& some equally priced options) for us Cheeky’s to consider.

Let’s take a look first at what cleansing tools like Clarisonic are meant to do for our skin….

  • Clean up to 6 times better than hands alone
  • Get rid of heavy dirt & grime
  • Better rid of makeup and sunscreen
  • Exfoliate & decrease the buildup of dead skin
  • Keep acne at bay
  • Help protect skin from free radicals – long term
  • Allow your skincare products to soak into the skin better
  • Improve skin tone & texture
  • Help with razor burn
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Smooth your skin
  • Cause your skin to feel more energized
  • Better clean out pores
  • Shrink enlarged pores
  • Firm skin
  • Plus so much more!

There are a wide variety of reputable companies that sell quality cleanser tools such as: for you to consider

  • Clarisonic
  • NuFace
  • Foreo
  • Clinique
  • Bareminerals
  • Proactiv
  • Olay
  • Nurse Jamie
  • Sephora brand
  • Boscia
  • Ulta brand
  • Shiseido

If you’re new to the scene & want a more affordable option when it comes to cleansing know that not all tools are created equally. Tools like Clarisonic have patented proven products that do more for our skin. However, budget is always a consideration for any product we consider so if that is your main priority when getting started, here are some of our top recommendations –

Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge – $30

Foreo Luna Mini – $99 (splurge!)

Shiseido Cleansing Massage Brush – $25

Proactiv Deep Cleansing Brush – $30 (mixed reviews)

ProX by Olay Advanced Facial Cleansing System – $20

After looking around & reading all about the products and consumer reviews, I think these are our best bet for a more affordable option. If you have one that didn’t cost you a pretty penny, let the Cheeky community know in the comments section below.

In the mood to spend some cash, say maybe your tax refund!? (I paid Arizona this year which was SUPER fun! One of the perks of moving lol) Here are some facial tools that will have you yelling ‘YOLO’ (you only live once) 😉

Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift – $349 (omg, I want this one so bad)

Luna 2 -$199
